Who we are
The Vision Zero Netherlands foundation is aligned with the global strategy for Vision Zero of the ISSA (International Social Security Association), and also builds on the activities of the Zero Accidents Network
Strategies and partnership
The foundation aims to achieve its goal by, among other things, offering a platform on which the ideas of Vision Zero can be shared. Its activities include exchanging experiences with the implementation of Vision Zero, organizing and participating in and improving the quality of safety, health and well-being related meetings, training courses, congresses and symposia, promoting scientific and practice-oriented research and providing publications. The foundation strives for cooperation with training and knowledge institutes, companies, industry organizations and other institutions that endorse the foundation's goal.
“The goal of zero accidents and work-related illnesses is to see and seize the opportunities, not to focus on the challenges that need to be overcome”
Gerard Zwetsloot, Amsterdam
“Zero accidents is the only ethically sustainable goal for safety”
Markku Aaltonen, Helsinki
